Prof. Dr. György HAJNAL

Dr. Hajnal has graduated from the predecessor of Corvinus University, the Budapest University of Economic Sciences in 1994, earning a Master’s degree in in Business Administration and Economics, and defended his PhD in Business Administration eleven years later. In 2010, he was awarded the Kolnai-prize by the Hungarian Political Science Association for the best Hungarian language publication of the year. He regularly publishes in Hungarian and international journals, including the Public Management Review, International Journal of Public Administration, and Journal of Public Affairs Education; gives lectures at various European universities, and contributes to various research projects. He regularly appears at the Trans-European Dialogue in Public Administration meetings. His latest international reseach projects involve: COCOPS – „Coordinating for Cohesion in the Public Sector of the Future”, and FP7 program; „EU COSTAction IS1207 „Local Reforms”, where he is the Hungarian partner and member of the Management Committee.
